Tom Rossi
Tom Rossi is a composer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music therapist, whose style embraces a global mosaic of border- dissolving tones, beats and harmonies from Africa, to Asia, the Middle East, South America and Caribbean, all the way to Los Angeles, CA.
Tom brings over twenty years of experience composing and producing for clients like BMW, GoPro, WildAid, Gaiam Inc., and Cyclone Pictures.
Rossi has played with an array of the world’s great master drummers, and spent fifteen years performing therapeutic music for patients in hospice care, all of which influences his diverse, one-of-a-kind approach to song, rhythm and sound.
In his most current project, Lights & Bridges, Tom condenses his symphonic visions into intimate, yet still epic slices of song, lyric and sound. It’s the evocative collision of voice and acoustic guitar stripped to its melodic essence. It’s the lush whisper of breathtaking harmony and atmosphere. It’s echoes of icons like CSN, Simon & Garfunkel, and Nick Drake. It’s a conversation with contemporaries like Bon Iver, José González, and Elliott Smith.
