Growing up playing various instruments, Sophia Gripari developed a solid musical foundation from a very young age. She is a London born, now LA based artist and songwriter. She was introduced to the London music scene at a young age, playing local live music venues to showcase her original, acoustic based music, including the iconic Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
Sophia decided to relocate to the United States in pursuit of a higher education in music. She went on to study songwriting and electronic production at Berklee College of Music. Here, she discovered her love for electronic music, studying the likes of Oh Wonder, Grey and NOTD, to name a few. After moving to LA in 2019, she continues to work on her own music and writing for others.
2020 year has been a year of visual development for Sophia Gripari as she adds numerous video releases to accompany her singles. "Hate You but I Don't", the first of Sophia's releases during the COVID-19 quarantine, was released alongside a 'Quarantine Music Video', featuring 70 people filmed straight from their living rooms around the world. She premiered her official 'Live from Lockdown' concert on YouTube in early July and is currently working on her next releases while playing multiple live shows via Instagram Live for LA based venues.
