Shaylee Simeone is an indie-pop artist with an honest breath and hopeful song. A Nashville transplant from Dallas, TX, Simeone released Volume I of her first full length album, For the Love of the Sea, in 2016. The album, echoing its namesake, features the artist’s soothing voice as it rises and falls among rhythmic crashes, unpredictable and addicting. She’s been featured on the Women of Substance Podcast, and has won several national songwriting awards. In 2013 her EP Strange Bird landed in the Top 10 on iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts. Channeling an artful language of transparency, Simeone continues to offer a genuine relationship with her audience. Layering the depths of her lyrics with warm and curious melodies, Volume II of Simeone’s For the Love of the Sea is set to release in Summer 2016.
