Words that were spoken from pop superstar and grammy nominated Halsey’s mouth in a 2018 Glamour Magazine video featuring her reactions to different artist’s covers of her songs. A passionate, vulnerable pop singer/songwriter, Bailey Jehl has worked her way up to more than 66 million streams on Spotify by building a large audience from the ground up and gaining a huge international clientele in the music industry.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Jehl began singing at age two and picked up the piano at age ten. She wrote her very first song at age thirteen and has not stopped since. Upon graduating high-school, she packed her bags and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2012 to further pursue her craft. There, she studied at Belmont University and worked with various producers and singer-songwriters to start releasing her own music. With inspirations ranging from R&B artists Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Khalid to pop sensations Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Jehl pulls aspects from multiple genres, creating a universal sound. Accomplishments such as getting her original song “About Us’ from her Quicksand EP placed on TLC’s 90 Day Fiance, singing a duet with pop heart-throb Jesse McCartney in 2018, being scouted out multiple times for The Voice, and earning her way to the top of the singer-songwriters list on music platform Soundbetter has fueled a fire in her to keep pouring her heart and soul into music. Now, she lives in Los Angeles, California where she is continuing to pursue her craft.
