Akelee was first seen on the hit television series American Idol where she was coined the name Little Whitney Houston at the age of 17. She has worked closely with some of the industries most prestigious producers and has written songs for artists such as Faith Evans, Musiq Soulchild, and more. Her work has landed major synch opportunities with companies such as Pepsi, Old Navy, ABC, and Disney. Passionate, driven, and hardworking, Akelee is extremely gifted and in love with the art of creating music for the world! Inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Karen Carpenter, and Whitney Houston, Akelee sets her goals high and has no intention of backing down from being one of the greats herself.
